Did you know: the library hosts monthly book groups at various senior apartment complexes and retirement communities in the area?  These include: Maiden Bridge and Canongate Apartments, The Residence at Whitehall, and South Hills Square Retirement Resort.  If you are a resident or know someone who is, feel free to join the club!

Classic Works: The Decades Project

Meets the last Saturday of the month at 11:30 AM

Is your copy of War and Peace propping open the front door? Have you started Pride and Prejudice more times than your car?

If so, join the book club devoted to turning that masterpiece into a piece of cake! We’ll tackle another classic work each month to see if it deserves its place on history’s highest shelf.

We’re tracking the changes in American literature during the second half of the last century by tackling selections written between 1950 and 2000. Come explore how modern history influenced our modern classics!
